Sean Donaldson

Sean joined Ferbrache & Farrell in November 2022 as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution department.

Sean was educated in South Africa and attended the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg where he attained a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Political Science and International Relations.

After completing his articles, he was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2021. After initially practising at a reputable mid-sized South African law firm, he joined a leading global law firm in 2022 where he worked primarily in the corporate and commercial litigation team. Sean’s experience covers commercial litigation disputes, risk advisory, regulatory, compliance and investigations work, including anti-bribery and corruption due diligence and anti-money laundering investigations. During his career Sean has also gained experience in employment and labour disputes as well as asset finance/rental agreements.

Sean’s practice extends to all aspects of local and international commercial litigation, including trust related disputes, contractual claims, debt recovery, professional negligence and employment disputes. Sean has a particular passion for regulatory compliance and investigations work.
