Alison is an Advocate and Senior Associate in the dispute resolution department.

Alison attended the Grammar School in Guernsey before obtaining a BA (Hons) in History from Cardiff University. She completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at City Law School and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London Bloomsbury. Alison was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in September 2016.

Prior to qualification as a solicitor, Alison received a bursary from a leading offshore law firm and gained experience at several firms in Guernsey. She worked as a paralegal in a boutique litigation firm in the City of London. Alison trained and qualified as a solicitor with a regional firm in Kent, specialising in commercial disputes, with an emphasis in corporate and shareholders’ disputes and insolvency. During her training, Alison also gained experience in family, employment and corporate law.

Alison’s practice is focused on trust litigation and commercial disputes including contractual claims, debt recovery, professional negligence and construction disputes. She also deals with regulatory matters and insolvency. Alison is a committee member of the Guernsey International Legal Association and takes an active role in engaging with students through the organisation.

Alison joined Ferbrache & Farrell LLP in October 2018 and was listed as a Rising Star in the 2020 and 2021 editions of the Legal 500 United Kingdom directory. Alison was admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in December 2021 and promoted to Senior Associate in July 2022.
