We at Ferbrache & Farrell are delighted to report that Lucy Beere, who works in the Property team, has won a gold medal at the Bowls World Cup singles held at the Warilla Bowls Club in New South Wales.
Described by one news source as a “pocket rocket”, Lucy beat the Australian Bec Van Asch 7-6, 2-8 and then 5-0 to take the title, to become the singles World Champion. Well done Lucy, a fantastic achievement!
Lucy has previously been a World Champion in 2008, by taking the top spot in the Under 25 Pairs Championships.
