Property Assistant - UK Real Estate and Guernsey Property (Full-Time)

As our practice continues to grow, we have identified a need for a full-time Assistant for our Property department.

As an Assistant in the Property team, you will provide an important link between our clients and the Firm, having responsibility for certain aspects of client file management, under supervision.

The ideal candidate will preferably be educated to A-Level standard, however, those having achieved high level GCSE grades will also be considered.  Candidates must have excellent organisational capability, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively to manage time-sensitive documents in a fast-paced, busy, team-oriented, and client-focused environment.

The work will encompass a wide variety of tasks including the preparation of legal correspondence, assisting with client onboarding and preparing for legal completions in respect of UK Real Estate, drafting and preparing title reports under supervision and assisting business development activities by drafting articles under supervision on topical legal news and developments.

No previous experience is required as full training will be given in this full-time role.

Trainee Compliance Administrator (Full-Time)

As our practice continues to grow, we have identified a need for a full-time Trainee Administrator for our Compliance team.

The ideal candidate will preferably be educated to A-Level standard, however, those having achieved high level GCSE grades will also be considered.  Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills together with the willingness to develop their understanding of Guernsey’s regulatory framework.

Candidates must be ambitious, energetic, commercially aware, confident and self-driven to develop their compliance career and will be assisted in any desired aim of becoming professionally qualified.

The full-time role will involve working closely with the Compliance Administrator and assisting with regulatory queries from other departments.  Typical duties will include:

  • Carrying out client risk assessments
  • Conducting sanctions screening
  • Assisting with testing procedures in line with the Firm’s Compliance Monitoring Programme
  • Liaising with clients and intermediaries
  • Assisting with the Compliance team’s general administrative duties

No previous experience is required as full training will be given.
